With our amino acid measurement (SMA-103) free amino acids are measured, whereas with our total amino acid analysis (SMA- 115) the total amino acid content is quantified, including additional HCl hydrolysis and sample preparation step before amino acid analysis. If you are interested in the ratio of free to bound amino acids, both analyzes should be carried out.

Sample Requirements: Samples can be spent cell culture media or cell culture supernatants. Please read and sign our sample declaration sheet. Prepare and ship your samples according to our sample preparation protocol.
Deliverables: We will send you a short report summarizing your data within 5 business days (After receipt of samples and if no additional sample preparation / matrix evaluation is necessary. Valid for sets of more than 5-50 samples).
